Great piece. But the cited example of SciEnergy/FlywheelBI may require correction, as I believe Steve works for Generate Capital. So, it could have been an acquisition or acquihire, and the platform is now part of GC.
But has the technology been rolled to GC? Just because someone moves to a new job doesn't mean they bring all their tech with them. For what it is worth, on Linkedin the flywheel page says the firm "officially closed in 2019" - I assume that any kind of sale or acquisition or acquihire would be framed differently.
Agreed. I said "may require correction" or further investigation into exactly what happened to the company's contracts and customers after the shutdown. It had a few decent ones.
Yes - I know what you mean, and I don't have all the history on that one...though I don't think it's still being used or deployed in the market. Thanks for the thoughtful comments and engagement!
