Two hours on AI's impact on real estate operations
Nowhere has AI had a bigger impact on the real estate industry than within property management. The day-to-day of responding to tenant inquiries, booking tours, triaging maintenance tickets, and negotiating renewals offers opportunity today for operators to achieve savings and improve outcomes by implementing AI tools.
But the hard part isn't picking vendors. The challenge is making (good) data available, managing risk, and ensuring finicky integrations do the right thing at the right time.
This is why we teach AI in property management through a thought experiment: what would it take to build a management firm with zero human employees? Inspired by this Thesis Driven letter, the framing forces us to grapple with the tough questions of integration and data availability without assuming a human is in the loop to bail us out.
While most of the examples in this workshop are drawn from multifamily, it should offer lessons relevant to real estate operators across asset classes. We'll also tackle some frontier concepts like predictive maintenance and agentic asset management.
We're offering this workshop tomorrow, June 11th. If you can't make it, the session will be recorded and shared (with all supplementary materials and vendor lists) with all registrants.
June 11th — 12:00-2:00pm ET – $299
We'll explore the role of AI in property management over two hours through six sections:
Setting the Stage
The Central Operating Stack (“The Brain”)
Marketing, Leasing, and Onboarding at Scale
Customer Service & Maintenance
Renewals, Reporting, and Asset Intelligence
The People Problem
