The results of Thesis Driven’s biannual real estate tech investor poll are in! Every six months, we poll approximately 40 of the most active real estate technology investors on their views on the market and where they’re investing. On Tuesday next week we’ll publish our updated active investor roster detailing the firms still actively doing real estate tech venture deals. Today, we’ll look at the macro picture.

Proptech venture activity is, without a doubt, way off its 2021-era highs, with funding volume in the first half of 2024 down double-digits from 2023—which was already a low year. But there is reason to believe we’ve found a bottom and should be optimistic about the future, which we’ll share as we walk through today’s poll results.

Today’s Thesis Driven will present the results of our biannual survey, including:

• Stages (pre-seed to growth) of interest;
• Trending sectors, including changes from the last poll;
• Investors’ views on future investment activity;
